1. Who We Are

EdmontonValley ("we", "us", "our") is a free social entertainment platform operated by Dream Studio, located at 312 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 2A9, Canada. 2. What Data We Collect

EdmontonValley does not require account registration. We collect a minimal set of data:

• Age confirmation flag. When you confirm you are 18 or older, we record a flag in your browser's local storage and a first-party cookie. This flag contains only a boolean value ("1") and a timestamp. No personal details are stored.
• Cookie consent record. Your choices from the cookie consent banner are saved locally (localStorage + first-party cookie) as a JSON string recording which categories you accepted. This is used solely to restore your preferences on return visits and to configure Google Consent Mode signals.
• Server logs. Like most web servers, our hosting provider records standard access logs: IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL, and page requested. These are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes and are not combined with other identifying information.
• Analytics data (if you consent). If you accept analytics cookies, anonymised usage data (pages viewed, session duration, approximate geographic region at city level) may be collected via Google Analytics. Your IP address is anonymised before storage.

We do not collect: your name, email address, payment information, precise location, or any data that would allow us to identify you as an individual. No user accounts exist on this platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To remember your age confirmation so you are not asked again on the same device within 180 days.
• To honour your cookie consent choices and configure advertising/analytics signals accordingly.
• To diagnose technical problems using server access logs.
• If you consented, to understand aggregated usage patterns that help us improve the platform.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or sale to third parties.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

EdmontonValley uses browser-side storage (cookies + localStorage) to save your age confirmation and consent choices. All strictly-necessary storage is first-party, originates from omenline.com, and is used for no purpose other than storing preferences you have set. Optional analytics and advertising signals are implemented via Google Consent Mode v2 — denied by default, updated only if you give explicit consent. 5. Third-Party Services

We load Bootstrap 5.3.3 CSS from unpkg.com (a CDN operated by Cloudflare). Loading this resource shares your IP address with unpkg.com/Cloudflare. Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) are used to serve the Fredoka One and Nunito typefaces — loading fonts shares your IP with Google. These services process data according to their own privacy policies. If you prefer to avoid these requests, you may use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin to block CDN resources.

If you have accepted analytics cookies, Google Analytics (analytics.google.com) may set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy governs that data. You may opt out of Google Analytics across sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

6. Data Retention

Age-gate and consent flags stored in your browser persist for 180 days and are then automatically expired. Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider for up to 30 days. Analytics data (if consented) is retained in Google Analytics for 26 months under the platform's default data retention settings; you may request deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA and Provincial Law

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to: request access to any personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; withdraw consent for optional data collection; request deletion of any data we have collected. Because we collect minimal data and do not link it to identifiable individuals, most requests will result in confirmation that we hold no data identifiable to you. 8. Children

EdmontonValley is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has confirmed entry to this platform, please contact us and we will take steps to remove any associated data.

9. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Locally stored preference data is limited in scope and contains no sensitive personal information. We implement industry-standard hosting security measures. No data transmission over the internet is completely secure; however, given the minimal nature of data we collect, the risk profile is very low.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
